In my opinion he's right. But only because i hate visually intense games. Colorful light trails on attacks, lots of screen shake on impacts, 500ms hit stop animations, particle effects that cover the screen. That sort of thing. Highschool themed games in general and especially psychological horror games. The only japanese games that i like are when they are trying to make western games. Rise of the Ronin, Resident Evil, Dragons Dogma, Killing Antidote(but i think that guy is korean), Binary Domain. Really not a fan of games that go cuhurazay.

If he said "most Japanese games suck", he would be correct as it would be obvious he was aiming at lowest common demoninators. Instead, he was riding the high of kneejerking against Japanophiles who thought shit like Final Fantasy was the greatest gift on God's given Earth and that Mario was the pinnacle of video game design.

The fact he was a narcissist is just comedy on top of the already silly debacle, and his crash out was the peak of it. The schadenfreude was pretty great. Good on him for realizing he wasn't cut out for it though and just dropped out entirely to do his own thing away from public eyes. Shame it took to making such a huge ass of himself that it's his overall legacy that will never go away. That's what you get for being such a fucking baboon in public, though.
