I'm 40 hours into a Skyrim playthrough and I wanted to installed the most basic coomer mod I could so I could consumate my sky-marriage so I went to nexusmods

The mod in question had layers and layers of dependencies, I think I had to install 15-20 mods as dependencies before I could even think of installing the mod I wanted but here's the kicker, two of those dependencies were outside nexus

One was in loverslab where I had to create an account to install a willy mod and one was in someone's patreon where I had to sign up and pay some dude

Skyrim modding is complicated because it has a long enough history to have gone through several releases, prevalent mod managers, fixes, and external utilities.

I tired modding Skyrim back in 2017 and downloaded shit loads of mods and got it all working and played it for a bit and realized I was still playing Skyrim and quit. I'm too lazy to get all the crazy mods so it always just ends up as Skyrim and I'd rather just play Skyrim without all the work. I'm probably autistic.
