Fat robots are the future. Larger legs and thighs means they are able to maintain their balance better while remaining aesthetically appealing. Chubbier arms will let them pick up objects without needing to worry about being too forceful and damaging the object. Large bellies means they can store artificial wombs, or can be refitted to have any kind of appliance on the go.

The worst part of data collection is not that somebody will come for you specifically, but that it feeds the larger machine that is getting better and better at manipulating society and the economy. The more seamless technology becomes, the more intimate details can be collected about the population, thus people and populations can be nudged ever more subtly. I would just prefer to have a robo gf to chill with, I don't want to put up with even more BS.
