Ethics Departments only enforce censorship on the base game and then forget about it entirely because they don't actually play them. Capcom learned this 20 years ago after all the bitch about racism in RE5 but they were still able to add grass skirt spearchuckers in the second chapter and Tribal Sheva with nary a peep of condemnation. In fact, I think they may only have played a demo of RE5 before demanding less niggers in the African shanty town because this opening cutscene somehow made it in.
Long story short - DEI reviewers don't play games beyond the first level and certainly not to completion so all you have to do is censor the promotional material and the first 30 minutes or so of actual game.
