>>715040657 (OP)I just finished it the other day, and it's pretty good. It has a great style to it, but the gameplay is pretty standard. The map is well designed, the pixel art is often stellar, but there's no change in how you play. You don't get any new moves or weapons, and the combat is clearly the focus rather than the movement. It's more of a Souls-like affair than a classic metroidvania. Also, the true ending is locked behind a destructible wall you have to find before the halfway point of the game or you're locked out for that playthrough
