>>715051131i'm not even like a huge sports game person really, i just think the current state of them is kinda bad, it's really disorganized and obtuse. you can only play the mlb games if you have console, no PC support, you can only play the jap baseball game if you use a VPN etc or buy the console version, that leaves you stuck with super mega baseball which is limited in the scope of its online play, fun arcade style 1v1 game but its limited and the art style is kinda cringe, then there's stuff like out of the park which is a sort of text based stats simulator / baseball manager sim, but there isnt really a good, soulful, sandbox-like, all encompassing game that honors the sport itself rather than the the current mlb or npb leagues, but the ball games and stories that really happened since the 1800s. i don't know why, but i have this vision of an ultimate game, that plays as smoothly as the pro yakyuu spirits games, but has so much more to offer.
