Played it when it dropped. Less high octane update, but its setting up the next lore dump update before we get into the huge battle autism final update.

Thats actually unclear. WW in streams fucks with the viewers by giving different answers to whether Superhuman ends with 1.0 or will continue with a sequel. And he has said other games he wants to make, like a vampire game and shit.
Its really a coin flip right now whether he continues Superhuman or not.

That's a good trick, unfortunately Patreon's pretty keen on that, and they'll check for offsite patches. They managed to be even worse than Valve on that front.
Peasant Quest had to remove completely "problematic content", and can't even make a public patch for it. Sure, there's a "fan patch" on ESL95, but nothing official.

The cast is really good in this game. Usually when a game has a big pool of main characters I'll gravitate towards one or the other and probably dislike one or two, but here I like everyone in the main gang. I get why the protagonist is friends with them.

I kinda think we're going to leapfrog past the 4th evolution and go to the 5th.
We know its possible to evolve back to back because the shit is random for the most part. And at the end of the next update, the Black Moon will kick off. The Eye Dude inside MC is getting ready to manifest and wild out. 1.0 is just almost entirely fight autism, according to WW.
If the game really ends with 1.0, then MC is gonna do some super saiyan type shit and just hit Level 5 with Eye Dude manifesting and juicing him to God Mode at a big climactic moment or something.
Some shit like that.
If there really is gonna be Superhuman 2, then Level 4 is gonna happen in the climactic moment of the 1.0 update. And Level 5 for Superhuman 2.

The Eye is definitely gonna do SOMETHING during the 1.0 update. He explicitly mentions something about getting ready for the Black Moon. The 1.0 Update is literally the Black Moon happening.
And MC already cannot evolve perfectly. His level 3 evolution basically simulated a serum evolution. And we know he's not gonna get a Chosen power-up like Alice, because he's Syla's genetics left him impure.
So something has to happen to get him to be able to fight on the level of the HERO top three and the Chosen and what not during the Black Moon.
I don't really like the idea of skipping an evolution like that, but I really don't see how MC can do anything during the Black Moon update without some bullshittery.

From what I understand, MC didn't get powers from two apostles. Your choice at the start of the game determines whether Body or Memory infect the MC. He gets powers from one of them.
But he already has monster genes in him of both Body and Memory (and a little bit of something else, so its not a perfect 50/50 split). MC was meant to be a perfect hybrid vessel for Body and Memory, but Syla fucked it up by getting the treatments to become human. Thats (partly) what makes him so special. Not that he's infected by both Body and Memory.
As for why he has both Body and Memory powers, its one part having nearly perfect 50/50 traits of theirs in this genes. And the other part is that when you're infected by an Apostle, you can access the powers of its twin Apostle. So, for example, all Body superhumans can use a bit of Memory, and all Memory superhumans can use Body. Thats why Ella had/has Memory powers, even though she was a Chosen of Body.
(Jake can use Power, if he trains.)
Also, MC is not unique in the 50/50 perfect hybrid thing. Henri is hinted at being the same, but even specialer. He traits are form the Apostle twins Fantasy and Truth, which is why he's got insane reality warping powers.

And that is because it changes depending on who you chose to get infected by at the start of the game. If you get Body, MC is of the Third. If you chose Memory, MC is of the Fourth. I know about the dialogue changes, but that doesn't necessarily mean the other apostle didn't contribute something. It can just refer to one of them reaching thr MC first and thus becoming the primary parent with the other adding its power afterwards. If it's really just one Apostle infecting him then the other should have no reason to stick around after their twin catches him but instead they meet back up and stand over his body until the infection takes hold.

I'm not sure what you mean by this. MC absolutely would not end up with the same power set if he was infected by a different monster. Also, bear in mind that genetics aren't completely absolute, I'm pretty sure Michael isn't especially genetically compatible with Power but the Second was able to turn him into a superhuman/possible Chosen candidate anyway.

Slya does mention this, but I didn't take it to mean that Memory goes for hybrids every single time. There is currently no indication that any named character other than MC got the double apostle treatment, the other attempts could have been thousands or millions of years in the past.
