Halo 4's campaign was beautiful, the weapons felt great, and story added depth to John and what a spartan was, which only the books did at the time. Spartan Ops was great too.
Halo CE is a different feel but it being behind Halo 4, doesnt make it bad or worse. I just appreciate the flow of 2 and depth of 4 more.
Halo 3 is the only one I genuinely find boring. the flow and music feels phoned in. their heart wasnt in it.

it has the worst flow. all of the story missions feel halfassed. the story is one giant apology to players who were upset because bungie didnt make halo 4 and 5. Halo infinite felt like they learned the wrong lessons and appealed to the wrong fans and turned the game into a boring pandering halo 3 clone.
