How do I access the code for the Wii U version of Watch Dogs to delete some effects?
I know almost nothing about programming.

if simple visual tweaks would've made the game run well, ubisoft would've done them.
the wii u version of watch dogs will simply never run well. play it on PC or XSX if possible, or if not, just play it on anything but wii u and PS3.

There's a bunch of leaked watchdogs builds that have symbols included, probably not wii u builds but I'd guess things would transfer over.
Those would give you function names for the game code which should make it much easier to look into, then you can find whatever funcs need to be patched.
WiiU patches aren't too hard to make neither, grab a copy of ghidra/ida and get to work OP.
