The Xbox Series X is fine. It feels similar to the 360 but with a dpad that's actually usable for fighting games and better sticks.
The 360 had better triggers though even though they don't have the meme haptic motor vibration feedback things.

Dualsense, motion aiming helps a lot and the touch pad can be used to navigate the PC instead of having to fetch a mouse.
Also there's already a lot of games that support the wacky rumble and the triggers if you are into that.

They all have a major flaw in some way or another, the perfect controller for PC doesn't exist. Either you get a subpar controller that doesn't even have a battery, or you get a good controller that doesn't match the face button mapping (which is fine in some games but many games don't properly support face mapping for non-xbox controllers).

I'm inclined to say Switch 2 Pro Controller as it's replaced my DualSense, but it's annoying as hell that in many games I have to remind myself that A/B and X/Y are flipped.

Xbox Series conroller is my main PC controller and I just don't ike the bumpers on them. The contact part is way too thin and they go back constantly if play rocket league they also hurt my fingers if I hold the controller in a way that's comfortable it seems like they're made to be hit from the far side but that makes you hold it like a pair of joycons with a strong bend in your finger idk it gets uncomfortable fast in a way that the dualshock 4 never did. I never used a PS5 controller before

i'm using a 3m braided cable which came with a gamesir controller i bought. nice controller with really fast polling rate but it's quite a bit smaller than the official xbox controller so i just use that instead. no issues so far.

I have DS4 and Series X and I'll never stop using the SeX for two main reasons

1. Xinput
A lot of cope surrounds this with people suggesting third party options but what's the point when Xbox controllers work just fine with mapped buttons and support for most games.

2. Battery
At first, not having rechargeable batteries killed my interest in using an Xbox controller but after investing in rechargable AA batteries + charger I never looked back and played with a cable. Batteries are empty? switch to a charged ones and charge the empty ones. A never ending cycle of playing wirelessly without having to plug a cable once.

Today i ordered 8bitdo Ultimate 3-mode. After years of playing on cheap 5$ pads that always drift and aren't even analog lol. I hope it will last for some time
