Mutations delete data over time, not gain it.
They can only delete or duplicate data, and the vast majority of these mutations are deleterious.
Natural selection is real but it SELECTS from what is already there.
We took a grey wolf, and through mutation only got increasingly retarded dogs, like chihuahuas and pugs.
We can OBSERVE what mutation is capable of, and what you see is what you get, it doesn't take a very long time to observe and even if you sat there 20 trillion years the answer wouldn't be different
What does this mean? Well one Darwinism is wrong. Two the Earth is not old (radiometric dating is the only evidence, it's wrong). Three humans of the past were genetically better than us, they were more intelligent.
We are in a constant state of decline due to mutations every generation, and with the massive explosion of human population from 1 billion to 8 billion in less than 200 years we are dumber than ever.

If anything we have the same intelligence we had back then, just a higher population count with technology and having our basic needs furfilled giving you more time for intellectual pursuits or recreative endeavours.
