Skyrim Mantella / A.I.

Anyone played with the Skyrim A.I. mod mantella? Been watching some videos and it gives me a huge boner but I'm not an experienced mod fag so gonna need to study.

Being able to have a conversation with someone / make them a follower or get them to do things is wild. A.I. is murky for many but for Open World vidiya, this seems like the true future.

Op again:

Imagining how fun A.I. will be for online D&D style games with people. Even MMO's.

I love the idea of being able to go completely off script and interact with everything. Looking forward to a fully freeform esque Open World where you can truly do the "choose your own adventure" thing.

Getting to a point where you can build a fantasy village and fill it with A.I. fueled NPCs is going to ruin entire bloodlines irl.

i for the life of me couldn't get Mantella to consistently work right, even though i'm familiar with modding these games and also with generative AI tools. i even tried their official model and everything.
there were some glimpses of it working well, though, and when it did, and the generated voice sounded just right, i genuinely couldn't tell if i was hearing real lines from the game or not.

i've been planning on trying the CHIM AI Framework but haven't gotten around to it yet. so that's another option for you.
