That's your answer. Phones are the most successful portable computer. You can deliver absolute hsit and get away with it. Why bother putting effort into it? 3rdies will gobble it up, not that they have a standard or alternatives. Yeah, big devs outsource them to the lowest bidder from China. You have mobile versions of Age of Empires, Warcraft, Command & Conquer - it's all junk.
Funnily enough 3D shooters like PUBG or World of Tanks at the least seem to resemble the actual games, though they too are poisoned by the usual F2P nonsense.

1. AAA typically means they spent a shitload of budget on it

2. There marketbase on phone isn't the same console and PC. Typically you mostly have casuals on phone. Real gamers play on consoles and PC.

Game companies don't want to spend AAA budget on a casual playerbase that would never think about spending more than 10 bucks on a game.
You do have exceptions like gacha faggots, but they're more or less also real gamers but only spend a shitload if they can gamble for a waifu.

My company outsources some of the IT work to indians and they are some of the most annoying to work with people I've ever dealth with. Incredibly thick accents, they don't know how to wait for their turn to speak and keep butting into other people's sentences, they're obsessed with communicating over Teams voice when a simple text message will do, they make a lot of mistakes.

Because premium-priced mobile games sell like absolute shit.
Resident Evil 4 (the original) got an iPhone port. It sold so poorly nobody even remembers it and basically killed premium-priced mobile games at the time.
Some 15 years later Resident Evil 4 Remake also got an iPhone port. It sold like 20k copies globally, on a device with an user base in the billions.

Also they're very rude. Once one of those stinky monkey forgot his card at an ATM and I ran to give it back, he didn't even say thanks. Just took it and didn't even lookat me. Another time during my master's one got angry and yelled at us for no reason. Dude thought he owned the place or something. We were like "wtf is wrong with this dude.
