Because FO3 was the first game in the series, I was willing to forgive a lot of its flaws. It was an experiment, and the experiment was more or less successful. They just needed to flesh it out more, increase the RPG elements, and invest more in the writing.
F:NV was more fleshed out, had increased RPG elements, and invested more in the writing.

The "writing" in this mod is just rick and morty. Fallout 3's writing was perfect. It had soul and emotional immersion. The only complaint you poopjeets ever give is that Fawkes's choice not to turn on the purifier wasn't logical, even though it's not supposed to be and he explains exactly why he did it. I couldn't even bother finishing it once. I dropped it when I got to the strip and the legion forgave me. The game doesn't even pretend to give consequences to your actions. The skill "checks" are also atrociously designed to prevent any friction for the player. All that along with the open world quest marker/fast travel crap and shitty combat just makes it another bethestard game at the end of the day.
