>>715075752 (OP)I recently pirated the first remaster collection after hearing so much about Tomb Raider over the years. It was fun at first, but by Egypt, I felt the game was becoming very boring and overstayed its welcome. The puzzles were, at times, clever, but mostly just cryptic and annoying. Some couldn't even be considered puzzles because they just rely on you finding some obscurely hidden thing. The controls are amazing for platforming because they allow you to be so precise, but they make combat basically impossible, although I'm sure I was just doing something wrong. I ended up dropping the game despite liking Lara herself and the atmosphere.
I kinda hate that I disliked it, since so many people seem to love the games. I'll probably give it another try some day. I bought Legend, Anniversary, and Underworld on Steam for like 2 dollars total, and I might play those soon.
