I care but I just bought a bunch of the older states during the Steam sale so I'm good for a while >>715081292
I don't believe so; the two games have different truck models and accessories
>>715082136 >Those are two different games, that are also exactly the same. >>715081552 >I don't believe so; the two games have different truck models and accessories
Such wasted potential, I'd love to expand my logistics empire from Europe to States without needing to run two separate playthroughs.

Euro Truck Simulator 2 may expand into Asia, since the rest of Turkey is rumored to be the next big DLC, which will release sometime after Iceland.
Ireland will not be touched until Great Britain is reworked, since that area looks like dog vomit due to its age. And until that stupid war is over, Ukraine, Russia, Belarus, and Moldolva is not on the table.

Ok, let's brainstorm this. What should give players the gacha tickets? Finished deliveries? Miles? In-game time?
Next, the reward. Anime figurine on the dashboard? Body pillow accessory? Real Doll on the passenger seat?
I guess you could exchange dupes to upgrade your anime tiddy monster - more dupes you invest, the less clothes she has.
This game is such a kino experience
I drive while listening to podcasts and think about the people passing by >Man they are probably coming back from vacation
Or still like sun rise while driving and realising I am close to the city now

NTA but just use cash for deliveries. you can buy merch in game (dashboard, body pillow, real doll, CDs, truck skins, etc.) but the real meat of the game (within the game) will be a tablet you awkwardly mount in your cab and the gacha is for cute anime girls to route you to your destination and the rates are god-awful so you blow the $50K from your last job whaling to MLB Mack-chan or some shit.
then the bank calls and freezes your account in the game.

my one complaint and i know it's asinine but i sort of wish there was a way (maybe there is?) to change the scale so you really get the sense of trucking cross country. i'm not saying i necessarily always want to put in 8 hours on a single road of truck sim but maybe like stretch out the scale sometimes so it takes like an hour to cross five states instead of 20 minutes or w/e.
really i just want a True Roadtrip game.

Interesting, sadly I am not into flight sims
I like to keep it real and stay in drive in the land of the Free
Let's hope somebody makes a similar mod for ats

Illinois is soonish, but Kentucky and Indiana are either not in development or very early. So you'll have to wait a while. Probably a long time given ND, MN and WI aren't in the works either.
>>715090798
Louisiana and South Dakota are also in development. I would assume that North Dakota will come immediately after South Dakota, followed by Minnesota and Wisconsin, before focusing on the rest of the country.
>>715093609 >mario kart
i would shit on ATS if the game was suddenly about throwing items and drift boosting to race or whatever
people want to get what they expect from a game

I don't get these dlcs, the game map is already big enough and these states don't look that different
Is it just for people who want to drive around in their home state?
>>715094470
there's plenty to talk about, like: >preferred drink? >whatcha listenin' to? >favorite state?
for me it's whiskey, background noise streams, and montana
although i haven't played in a few months.

Parts of the game aged like ass. The game released 13 years ago, and were built directly off of even older games nobody has heard of or played.
That is being fixed, but SCS is prioritizing American Truck Simulator.

California and Nevada is the base game. Arizona is the only free DLC. The ones that came after, in order are New Mexico, Oregon, Washington, Utah, Idaho, Colorado, Wyoming, Montana, Texas, Oklahoma, Kansas, Nebraska, Arkansas, Missouri, and now Iowa. Louisiana, Illinois, and South Dakota are all under development.

Also, it's rumored that British Columbia may be announced soon, and all that anyone knows about what will happen with Tennessee is that it will be bundled with another state due to its shape (meaning Kentucky). Smaller states will be bundled together.
