We see other Darkners like Queen take on aspects of Lightners. Spamton, bizarrely, acts like a confidant toward Kris. He tells Kris to come ALONE and Kris, for some reason, obeys, both at the junk yard and in the basement. Spamton promises to "pass my savings onto you" if Kris helps Spamton become NEO. Spamton also tells Kris "we don't need friends!" I think one element of Spamton, at least, is actually Asriel.

The other anon is definitely right that FRIEND has multiple "bodies" going around as we can see in the ERAM fight. We know the shadow crystal of ch2 was inside the NEO body, not something Spamton generated. So the FRIEND face we saw there may have been coveting it, or had already planted it, watching for the sweet chaos, Chaos!
But one more thing worth noting is FRIEND has one less appendage than Endogeny. The result is that FRIEND resembles a hand, possibly connecting it to all the Kris hand stuff. But also, making it possible the entity referred to in BIG SHOT. The one who "pulls the strings and makes them ring".

Seam's role is pretty obvious if you replay chapter 1 with our current knowledge.
