dev costs have ballooned to the point where failing to get a return on investment is flushing 100+ million dollars down the drain so everything is focus tested slop designed to appeal to as many people as possible
indie games are made by gay retards but at least they have unique visions

for some increasingly baffling reason most of them still seem to think $500+ million bloatfests that take 8 years to make is the way to go
