I doubt the mod fixes all the script changes. Fan-stuff like that always leans on the butchered script to not alienate other fans too much.

What exactly does it change? I know localizers love to ruin things, but I don't remember what was cut or changed in waifublade 2.

Is there anyone whose catalogued the rewrites in XC2? Or any Xenoblade game for that matter but XC2 primarily.

Pretty much every character and location name was localized. Particularly jarring if you're playing with the Japanese dub.

Haven't gone through 2 but when stuff lie pic related exists, it's a safe bet it's the standard fare. Cutting lines they don't like and replacing them with jokes or gibberish. "Punching up" dialogue by adding quips during serious scenes. And then the super basic N5 Japanese mistakes that inevitably slip-through and don't get corrected because no one double-checks shit.

It's just not enough, it's the polishing a turd problem. A polished turn is better and you can appreciate the efforts of polisher. But it's still a turd.
