I just don't get why they doubled and triple down on making the game for casuals. With fighting games you have only two chances to make the game appealing for casuals. The graphics and the single player content. Anything else is championed by the hardcore people and making them happy will also spread the game around.

What seems basically confirmed is that the game was engineered around user data to be made like it is so there was no one with a passion and vision behind the game who tried to make their dream Tekken game. I dropped from Tekken God to Bushin from s1 to s2. There's no sense of linear improvement going from more games+labbing to increased rank. It seems the game is purely biological.

Shit pissed me off. The old assist mode let you have a 1frame delay for easy input on a specific type of move and stringing them together game you a combo.

Babies first fighting game mode was such bullshit and then making that key shoulder button that stays on if you accidentally hit it.

Mod management in Tekken isn't the easiest if you don't keep track of what you have and when the conflicts start.

If you download a bunch at once and get a crash you'll have no clue why.
If you add one, test it out, and adjust accordingly you usually can figure what makes a stable mod loadout.

Last time Tekken 8 broke mods, it was a physics issue with hair.
We also lost some mods for good. FineMod who makes some of the best mods doesn't like going back and fixing already finished work and turned off DMs after the first patch break.
I'm in regular contact with another modder and luckily he's willing to go back and fix em.
This time I have no clue WTF broke it this time.

And I love the T8 mods cause they look amazing. The mods do a better job at customization than the devs do with official items. I also like sexy outfits that make the average DOA player blush
