Most obscure game I've played.

Kill yourself I pirated it and 100% it and my experiences were identical with a closed or open wallet.
Not super duper obscure, I guess. But I've never heard anyone talk about it.
>>715119917Then the games you play aren't obscure enough. I buy them because you cannot pirate them. You need more than five players for your games to show up on piracy websites.
>>715119917Based. It's better to have a pirate copy for most of these as you can keep the best version when the dev has an episode and decides to censor or fuck up their game like Ready or Not or Superhot VR.
I've been meaning to give that one a try, I really like the aesthetic. Have you played the sequel too?
>>715120101That's not true at all because
I bought downloaded, immediately refunded and then uploaded it onto csrinru myself but I didn't mention this because I still opened my wallet for a split moment

I don't have it on Steam, I bought it from some bundle site a few years ago.

Friend of mine got this for the group on sale for three bucks, never heard of it before then. Pretty jank but we had a lot of fun with it. The fact that there's a five dollar cosmetic dlc kinda rubs me the wrong way, seems like something you should wait to do after you've polished your game a little better.

The most obscure games I own are the Railslave games, due to Jarboe voicing one of the characters in one of his early games, and appreciating the schizoid psychedelic version christian spirituality that is his style, not good games but very schizophrenic.

>>715141458nah, they're completely different, so you don't have to worry. While Dyeus is very much a "hardcore" experience, Worlds is much more laid-back, especially due to the fact that you have several levels where combat is secondary or tertiary to the experience
>>715148556Dyeus is indeed hardcore, but not rewarding. That's the part I didn't enjoy. And for some reason it also skipped the cutscenes or the slides before you teleport to the final area so I didn't even get to enjoy that.

I win, this shit was originally distributed on a finnish BBS or university LAN or something in the early 90s. Probably nobody else saw this game for decades until I uploaded my copy for a guy so he could put it on internet archive.

Fun game made by a /v/tard about 3-4 years ago, unlisted for 2. Pretty sure the dev died so no more updates.
>>715114486I wanted to play this but there was no crack for it. Only crack I found was Switch emulation but I can't be arsed with that.
>>715120685I remember being excited for this game before it came out. I knew of it during the kickstarter craze. Unfortunately, it turned out to be pretty shit by all accounts. But it certainly had a cool concept.
>>715139582I played this game back when it launched and barely remember it other than remembering that the ending was pretty cool.
>>715145879You've shilled this game so many times and I just wish it didn't look like absolute dogshit.
>>715146039I don't feel bad for the ones that are trying to make a profit and make it big. Those failing is funny to me.
But the ones that did something out of passion and then only got like 10 people playing the game, if that? Yeah, feels bad. Especially the games that look really high effort but because they don't pierce the zeitgeist they get 300 reviews and that's that. The competition is fierce right now.

>>715114012 (OP)I'm shifting over from triple A to indie slowly over time. So everything i play is obscure. We happen to be living in a good time for independent developers, possibly being able to deliver the same kinds of games that i liked in the early to mid 2000s, we're not quite there just yet however. But we are slowly getting closer to this ideal point. I expect it will come soon.

Left is a single player collectible card game (not a 'rogue' game, it follows a narrative where you build a deck and compete to become the best Duelist.)
