GTAV wasn't so GTA6 won't with everybody gone. Though I did have some good moments in GTA Online but specifically in the lobby. Its crazy how they set up the entire game to be about absolutely fucking tedious and boring heists.

the game picks radio defaults based on where the player currently is, with KDST being the default not only for the desert but also for Las Venturas and parts of the countryside north of Los Santos, IN ADDITION to it being the default station for all aeroplanes and helicopters. Since you spend more than half the game in those parts of the map, KDST is the most common station cars will be defaulted to when you steal them.

there is no contemporary rap in San Andreas. it's all pre-1993 stuff to fit the setting. it wasn't even contemporary when the game was new; in 2004 the rap scene was all about dirty south guys like Lil Jon and Ludacris

It would've sold gangbusters as a launch Vita title. it would've done for the Vita what LCS and VCS did for the PSP. When did the Vita launch stateside, Christmas 2011? that was during their dry period between Redemption 1 and GTA 5 (Max Payne 3 doesn't really count). People would've queued up for that, no question.

a pet project of mine is to make a mod for San An that's basically a SAS. set in the late 60s, showing the rise of street gangs in the wake of the civil rights movement and all that. Imagine getting high on acid and blowing up hippies before leading a police chase across the Bay Bridge in SF whilst Hendrix is blaring on the radio, summer of 1968

I was thinking a biker. pulling inspiration from Hunter S Thompson's story on the Hells Angels along with stuff like the Hollister Riots and movies like Easy Rider. They're going around dealing drugs and guns (helping kickstart the drug wars of the late 70s through the 80s), feuding with the Black Power movement, taking over towns and shit as a gameplay mechanic.
