>>715131529NTA, but I'm not quite sure anybody just reads random nonfiction books. The only reason I've ever picked up a nonfiction book is specifically because I'm researching a topic's primary source, or because it's a technical manual on something I want/need to do.
I mean, come on, in this era of the internet, you can't seriously think grabbing one random book about a topic is the best way to go about it, when a nonfiction book is mired deeply into one random person's biases and idiosyncracies about the subject at hand. It's just better to dive into the internet and start grabbing from a wide pool, and then narrowing down as you get more specific. Basically the only exceptions are topics that are WHOLLY psychological and about something that exists in one person's brain, like philosophy, but not everybody gives a fuck about that in particular.
