I was in a thread shitting about a well loved game and I asked why they thought that way about the game. It was clear based on the responses they didn't actually play the game.
I don't understand why a person would even lie about that. What drives a person (especially mutiple people) to lie about such a trivial thing? Sometimes I think the NPC meme is real when I see such a phenomenon.

For example, if you look in the thread and people are actually discussing the video game
The only problem I particularly have is that most /v/ posters are more interested in shitposting, so slower threads sink quick. Difficult to talk about a more niche game as a result, especially since people write off games they haven't heard of or just don't like as viral marketing.
