It's such a piece of trash. It has little pads on the inside to cushion the triggers so they don't make (as much) noise. The problem is that they can become dislodged and the glue and get exposed making your triggers stick. The only solution is to open them up and clean it out or cram cotton in there through the seams to hopefully coat the glue.
This shouldn't be an issue with a "premium" product like this.
In regards to other controllers, stay away from 8bitdo. A lot of people will tell you they're good, but I've had issues and had to return my last three. Not worth it anymore.
Gamesir is OK, but for some reason I can only get Steam to recognize it as a PS4 controller.
Hori's recent Steam Controller is OK too, especially as you can customize it's extra buttons to literally anything you want with Steam Input not just one of the already represented buttons (even things like mouse and keyboard keys) it just has no vibration functionality for some reason.
