How would (YOU) reimagine Final Fantasy VII as a 10-15 hour Action game?
Here's an interesting thought experiment. If you were charged with re-imagining Final Fantasy VII as an Action game, without any RPG elements, how would you do it?. How would you condense the storyline down to be more focused and shorter. What areas would you choose to make into full levels?, what kinds of setpieces would you like to see?, what would the combat be like?. Would it be more like DMC/Bayonette, or more like Ninja Gaiden, or a third-person shooter?.

I would make it super linear like Uncharted 4. Would ditch Vincent and Yuffie. Enemies would die quickly and combat would be more fluid/vertical, like Sekiro in terms of movement. I would gut Cid's arch and trim the flashbacks.

My vision would be basically what if FF7's plot was written as a pulp novel series?

very simple just have it be completely faithful to the real FF7
no 7R walking simulator bullshit, no Compilation bullshit. no anime brainrot shit, no pointless tacked on OCs and garbage sidequests, no holding triangle for a whole minute to interact with doors purely designed to waste your time.

-Turnbased mode
works just like FF7

-Action mode
It would play like KH2 but with Materia.
(optional Tactical mode setting when you hit the dpad for shitters who can't use the command menu without slomo.)
