>>715145092 (OP)>we haven’t yet met a potentiometer-based stick that’s drift-resistant.What about all the potentiometer-based sticks of the 7th generation consoles and older?
And this guy completely missed out on how this one is designed so that the sticks hits and are stopped by the rubber rings instead of by the sticks' gates like is the case with the previous pro controller.
This was a really bad video in general.
>Built to break>Not so proIs the title and thumbnail. And yet he doesn't actually substantiate this in the video at all.
All he really substantiates in the video is that it's a bother to disassemble. He implies that all potentiometer-based sticks are prone to drifting, doesn't explain why or how, and he isn't even correct considering the many examples of potentiometer-based sticks that have endured countless of hours without drifting.
He doesn't cover how the sticks are actually designed tear and wear less on the hardware. Instead he just scoffs at how the resistive film on the new sticks are slightly thinner than before.
It's a ridiculous fucking video. Is he just trying to ride the fuck-nintendo algorithm or is he unironically being paid?
That was pathetic. Just watch Nerrel's video. He isn't exactly being kind either but at least he doesn't bullshit.
