Perhaps this would be more of an elite style controller? marketed towards a user who is interested in luxury goods who would be more inclined to service the shaft of the controller? A sort of Rolex type consumer or the individual who might buy the newest iPhone. A MAC user perhaps. or the type of consumer who collects katanas. I do believe those must be lubricated with a protective oil to prevent corrosion. Speaking of katanas perhaps a controller like this could be used for a katana game?

This is an open source project so if anyone utilized it it’s out of my hands. This is a controller by gamers for gamers. As of now it merely is a proof of concept.

This is interesting I am not 100% sold on the idea but I think it’s an attractive alternative. I think I have seen similar devices sold in novelty shops so there is an audience for this apparently.
