The entire story was wrapped up by the 3rd one, only possible route for more games would be prequels.
Origins was an okay portable time waster, but had a retarded story and fucked up the only path for continuing more about the story.
Homecoming and everything else sucked ass. Silent Hill f is literally the single best option they could have possibly made to move the franchise forward

This series got dry and died 20 years ago off the back of multiple bad movies and games, so it makes perfect sense to inject a completely different setting that SCREAMS traditional Japanese horror into the big name Silent Hill franchise in order to bring it back. It's completely different and that's the point.

Yet another "Silent Hill" set in "America" but not made by that original team, is just another disaster waiting to happen because the vision is compromised and pigeonholed. A Japanese vision from Japanese minds in a brand new visual presentation is the only way to go.

Really looking forward to this game. The music, the fog, the atmosphere, the puzzles, the boss fights. The emotions, the horror, the terror, the suspense. I really like that her clothes are going to be ripped up, I'm always a mark for battle damage to show health. I also really like that there are no guns, because there should not be any guns or ammunition for this setting. I think a small revolver could be a great bonus endgame weapon though.

You can set everything to high in general. But by lowering shadow quality you can gain you the most performance.
But I would still recommend using mods because many settings change almost nothing in terms of visuals or performance.
Use DLSS4 if you can because the image is very unstable otherwise.
