I want to play but have heard that this game is woke...like not meme woke but serious agendas pushed that break immersion. How true is this and are there mods to fix it if so?

Played it enjoyed it nothing in it broke my immersion but there definitely are some woke subjects throughout the game one of your potential companions reveals that they used some magic to become a woman. Another guy hosts origins at his mansion while the city is being overrun outside. Shit like that. Nothing felt preachy to me which is good. I hate when a game turns into a lecture about modern real world bullshit.

I, as an honest question, wonder if there's any real-life mythology equivalents to this.
I'd imagine in Hinduism due to there being millions of gods.
