Wii had mandatory waggle attached to the second most important action of the game, something you do many times a level with precise timing.

3DS was fucking 240p and ran at 30fps on a shitty nub handheld.

fair point. i don't have a wii anymore and it looks like shit on my 3ds so im glad it came to switch because the game is great and very replayable.

I grabbed it and Luigi's Mansion 2 HD as a voucher pack just to have them on Switch and dropped Returns by world 2 since beat it twice already.

I seriously hope you people don't do this. We *almost* had a good thing going when VC originally launch, and it's not as if other companies aren't heavily discounting their old games / ports. You should not be paying any more than 50% of the original asking price for a game that's 10+ years old. If you think otherwise, you've been successfully conditioned by artificial scarcity created by Nintendo. Put two and two together. Their retro catalog isn't gimped because they simply can't port these games.

It's built off the 3DS version but they didn't undo the compromises that version had
For example, the giant bat's massive sonic blast doesn't actually look like its come out of its mouth
They also didn't fix a problem the 3DS version had with co-op where on the Wii version enemies had a brief moment that allowed both players to jump off them
