Irithyll of the Boreal Valley is much more soulful and gorgeous than Anor Londo if you take off the nostalgia goggles

I think this is the most atmospheric location in the entire DS trilogy. I have not played Bloodborne, so I'm not sure about any locations in that game

I wouldn't recommend it if you just want to look at pretty places. It has some, but most of it is certainly just dark dungeon corridors. As to how scary it is, pretty. It scares you with an oppressive atmosphere, monsters, and story, rarely ever throwing cheap jumpscares at you, which I love. The DLC is certainly more panic-inducing.

Yeah, that's the one. The choir was great.

Dark Souls 3 was when they perfected that 'blast you with a vista' thing that they love doing so much. But Bloodborne's environments are good too if a little samey. The fishing hamlet is probably the most atmospheric location in the game for me.

I like The City in Mirror's Edge
Despite being a dystopian shithole, it feels lived in, with humming AC units, buses and metro trains passing by, and birds flying around. The weather is also very pleasant. I don't know. I've always liked urban cityscapes, and The City in the game looks like a place I would actually like to live in. It's funny how, in 2008, it was supposed to be a totalitarian, futuristic hell, while now it's the actual reality, with cameras everywhere, AI tracking, and a complete lack of free speech. By modern standards, The City's low crime rate, clean streets, and decent quality of life seem pretty good

Funny because I thought "that's fucking Bloodborne" after seeing that screenshot
