I can't bleieve someone would be so deranged as to get massively proven wrong and instead of going "ok, i was wrong, game sold well and people loved it"

They instead go "LALALALA I CAN'T HEAR YOU THE GAME FLOPPED IT FLOPPED LALALLAA".
What drives someone to do that? Are their lives so bad and they keep losing non stop irl that they want this "war culture" win so bad even after they lost?

I swear these people in denial are worse than the SKG losers who think their initiative will pass.

Look, i'm happy 2024 was a good year for you and lots of woke games flopped! But in 2025 despite you wanting KCD2 to flop, it didn't flop, despit eyou wanting AVowed to flop, it didn't flop, and AC:Shadows didn't flop either

Witcher 4 won't flop, GTA 6 won't flop, Ghost of Yutai won't flop.
Winning in 2024 left you addicted to flops but you lost your touch.

Stellar blade budget = about $40 million
Asscreed budget = about
$300 million

40,000,000/3,000,000 = $13.33 per sale
300,000,000/3,000,000= $100 per sale

Now, its estimated to be upwards of 400 million to make and we still dont know of it was 3 million in sales. That's the last number of PLAYERS I recall.

So no, they spend nearly 10x the money for the same amount of "players"

So 40 million spent with a return of 180 million

Vs

180 million return on a 300 million dollar investment...

180 mil/ 40 mil is 222.22 450%

180mil/300mil is 60%

They "shared" their most profitable IP's with the deal Tencent saves the company from their sinking ship but they get first dibs on all profits and most be reimbursed what Tencent funds with intrest before Ubisoft actually gets profit themselves.

Depending on who you ask this is just a fancier way to say they are getting loan shark'ed.

Sorry but we already have the numbers on Steam.

And if you claim that the steam numbers don't tell the full picture, then that's their problem, because they're not releasing the full stats.

We simply extrapolate from the stats we do have, and we don't listen to bullshit lies the media spreads - which they're doing so they can win the culture war. It's very pathetic.

Well, they can start, by not being such fucking giga cunts, and start releasing their games on gog. I wouldn't mind getting some of thdir older, better, games if they were on that platform. Namely, the asscreed series. They put the first game on there, but then just dropped it and told the goggers to suck a big fat one and go cry into their pillows if they didn't like it.

Sales Performance:
PS5:
Around 1.7 million copies sold within the first two months.
PC (Steam):
367,000 copies sold in the first two weeks, with sales nosediving afterward.
Xbox:
No official numbers are available, but one estimate suggests a similar number to PC sales, potentially around 367,000.

Fucking terrible. Your shilling won't work here, son. The game is not only flawed as fuck, but racist and half of cast does not fucking belong there.

Also:
Valhalla is one of the top-selling games in the Assassin's Creed franchise, with estimates ranging from 10 to 20 million units sold according to Game Rant and according to IconEra.

Also it's funny they're talking "Year one" for Shadows in terms of ONE (1) DLC expansion as if it's going to get another year.

People already hated the two (2) years Valhalla got and thought it was massively bloated. While Shadows is less bloated, people don't want more JRPGs and given the game flopped (>B-B-BUT MUH PLAYERS IN FIRST THREE DAYS!) I doubt the DLC sales recoup it's 8 years hail-Mary development costs for Ubisoft.

So is a quarter of all potential players didn't buy it, what does that say about the game?

Back before Valve started to fudge numbers, SteamSpy was about 1:1 accurate in terms of PC->console numbers, developers came right out and said if Steam numbers looked healthy, console owners numbers were similar (about 1-2x more in terms of players.

If only 28,000 players were playing Naggers Creed: YASSSuke Edition on launch, that's about 56,000 players that purchased on console and being generous and doubling that number (112,000) that's still DISMALLY lower than Valhalla and others launch numbers.

Yes they have. They stopped around AssCreed: Unity because of bugs/etc. and the numbers declining. Ass Creed massively front-loads sales during launch month and then makes an additional 1-3 million (being generous with that 3 BTW) within the next 1-2 years thanks to sales/half-off.

Series (if you believe VGChartzzzzzz due to grain of salt, etc.) the series has been declining since 3.

https://www.reddit.com/r/assassinscreed/comments/1cwei5h/how_do_you_think_shadows_will_sell_compared_to/

Here is a list of FIRST WEEK SALES:

Assassin’s Creed: 1.24 million

Assassin’s Creed II: 3.27 million

Assassin’s Creed Brotherhood: 2.15 million

Assassin’s Creed Revelations: 2.22 million

Assassin’s Creed III: 3.52 million

Assassin’s Creed IV: 2.36 million

Assassin’s Creed Unity: 2 million

Assassins Creed Syndicate: 0.92 million

Assassin’s Creed Origins: 1.5-1.7 million

Assassin’s Creed Odyssey: 1.4-1.5 million

Assassin’s Creed Valhalla: 1.7million

Assassin’s Creed Mirage: 1.4-1.7 million

Here is a list of 4 MONTHS POST LAUNCH SALES:

Assassin’s Creed: 5 million

Assassin’s Creed II: 9 million

Assassin’s Creed Brotherhood: 7 million

Assassin’s Creed Revelations: 7 million

Assassin’s Creed III: 12-13 million

Assassin’s Creed IV: 11-12 million

Assassin’s Creed Unity: 9 million

Assassins Creed Syndicate: [no data]

Assassin’s Creed Origins: 6-7 million

Assassin’s Creed Odyssey: 5-6 million

Assassin’s Creed Valhalla: [no data]

Assassin’s Creed Mirage: 5 million
---

Shadows launch is 2.5 million (being generous there). 4 months later (nearly six now) it's about 3 million.

That's not even matching a lot of the later entries launch period sales. IT'S DIRE.

>fallout 4 is trash, no new vegas 2, no new elder scrolls game, ck3 is also subpar
>bethesda is a hollow shell of a company that wasnt that great to begin with
>almost all new releases except for indie titles aren't even worth a pirate let alone a buy
>constantly arguing with paid for shills from india employed by multinational billionaire companies that try to convince others and I that I should buy the new trans black female lead slop screaming into a camera that they're making non-stop.
Would not have believed you if you told me this 10 years ago. Not even a little. What a crazy timeline.

>Valhalla is one of the top-selling games in the Assassin's Creed franchise, with estimates ranging from 10 to 20 million units sold according to Game Rant and according to IconEra.
You can't really use Covid as a measure for anything because it's not a typical sales environment so it's disingenuous at best to compare it to that. It's better to compare it to Odyssey or Origins which it's still doing several million under as far as we know since both of them released in a non-Covid environment even if Odyssey got a sales bump due to Covid and the crossover.

complete fall from grace, yea. I remember hating the outer worlds. poor writing, vaguely racist, and sexist. just an overall disappointment. Shame it shares a similar name with outer wilds.

Outerworld was such a snoozefest and the companions, and basically all the important npcs, are genuinely some of the most boring cardboard cutout personalities possible. I just can't comprehend how anyone looked at it it and said "yeah, this is good enough to make it to the final game".

Cope harder. Stellar Blade selling a million for a new IP was success... even more when such numbers were on the fucking PS5 of all things.

What caused you to turn out like this?
Obsessing over what vapid shit people do online to the point where you have to patrol the catalog to correct some imaginary record you've invented.

You came into this thread like every other ragebait thread you go into, you take it very seriously as a personal attack against you that you have to defend.
It's embarrassing

You need to apply this energy to something better in your life, bitching at the proletariat will never make them agree with you.
These corporations aren't your friends, the proletariat will never truly align themselves with you and you won't be able to manipulate them into a more agreeable worldview.
It's funny to make fun of Assassin's Creed Shadows and Avowed and that's as far as anyone truly, really thinks.

If you can't detach yourself from being emotionally affected by the mob, then you've become them.

Even if the 3 million number is true (which it isn't) isn't 3 million much lower than the average game in the series? I remember reading somewhere that 2 and 3 sold over 10m copies

Look, I get it. You like trashy open world games with questionable political agenda tied in, but no need to pretend that it did something phenomenal in it's sales. It gets outperformed by fucking Veilguard out of all things.

Per sale? This is written very poorly. It reads like ACS made $100 per game sold. I don't get it.
