I liked this game, and I think the ending song was nice. However the villain was pretty weird and the corridor pacing was boring. Interesting combat though

Well, considering the game is set In a privately owned and run prison, it would make sense that the weapon of choice for the staff would be the shock baton. If you kill a prisoner, you can't keep getting paid to incarcerate him/profit off his free labor.

Nigga shut yo lame ass up, I played the fuck out of the original even recently you dumb fuck. It's better in every way, even gameplay. That metroidvania shit added literally nothing to the game other than padding out game time.

This game interested me when I saw the trailer and so I had it on my radar. But then it launched and every reviewer that I trust game it pretty meh reviews. Literally none of the buzz around it was good, so I passed on it. Even now the game has been on gamepass for a while and I can dl, but I've never even bothered. I just dont have the time to mess with a by all accounts unfun mediocre game.
Btw, og Dead Space is a masterpiece, but I also hard passed on the remake bc of all the unnecessary woke sanitizing shit. Same reason I passed on Dead Rising remaster too.
