Fair, Kotaku's about as reliable as a Joy-Con after six months. But even if you throw out the source, there's way too much smoke around the Pro Controller issues for there not to be some fire. Nintendo's been coasting on good will for too long - overpriced hardware, DLC practices, minimal QoL features, and now this. They're starting to look more like Apple every gen.

It uses fucking microSD express cards, anon. The standard and cards have been around since 2019, it's not Nintendo-exclusive. The problem is that UHS-I microSD cards were good enough for almost every purpose so adoption is basically nil.

Also, the fact that you need to source your own adhesive is pretty corroborating of that statement (that's correct btw, "corroborating" is its own word and not to be confused with "collaborating" which you probably think).
