It says on the steam page that it's kernel level, doesn't mean it shouldn't work under linux.
Usually kernel level anticheats are designed to specifically classify non bare metal windows computers as cheaters, but that's technically their choice, doesn't mean it shouldn't work.
The problem they have with linux and macos through crossover, is that these run only when the application is launched and in the userspace, which means they can't basically do jack shit to prevent cheating, that's why they block them from running the game.

There's plenty of anticheat protected games that run fine on linux, I'm an mmofag and wow, eso, gw2, ffxiv and fo76 work fine in linux, although ffxiv had lots of bullshit because the launcher is one of the biggest turds known to mankind.
And I've played lots of more anticheat protected online games, ow2, rivals, runescape, brighter shores, the finals work fine under linux too
Don't know about many more since I don't play much pvp games.
