It's one of my all favorites but it's for a pretty niche crowd. Large time investment (I read pretty fast and all three games took me around 90 hours in total), a big chunk of the story is slice of life (deception is like 70% SoL , worldbuilding, and setup), and the premise of the first game makes it seem super generic so it's hard to get people into it besides saying "just trust me bro".

There is one censored CG in the second game of a brat getting spanked. It doesn't actually show her from behind anyway, the girl spanking has her hand edited to less implicate that's what's visually happening, but the text and sound effects remains accurate.
There is no other censorship (besides that if you count removal of ero CGs in the first game, but this version is a full remake of the first on a new engine, it's technically a different game)

Aquaplus released ToHeart remake too but it's a schoolslop dating simslop. I'll still probably play it though.

If anyone tells you that you can skip the first game they're retarded and should not be taken seriously, the entire climax and final scene of the trilogy hinges on you having played the first game to have the intended impact

I've finished the prelude to the fallen and it was an absolute kino. But I heard that the story really kicks-in in the mask of deception/truth.
Now I started Deception, and I like the new characters, they are fun. But the game feels SLOW AS FUCK in the beginning. So I had to take a pause

it's slow as fuck on purpose to make you care about the characters
i also think it's the weakest out of the three but truth won't be as good as it is if deception isn't like that
