This! I am an anti furry and I hate furries too.
It would be better if all the characters were humans instead of mediocre furries. Humans are better than furries and animals do not deserve rights and only exist to serve and feed humans. Furries are evil.
Especially the female ones should be anime waifus with big tits instead of icky furries so I can coom to them and the males should all be deleted because having male characters is gay and I do not want to stare at male asses all day.

I bought it on the summer sale and am going to try it today. The game looks great and kind of seems to match that offline MMO vibe. The only detractor is the furry aesthetic.

Q: if my character is a mystic and I've not played in a few months (since about a few weeks after launch pretty much) is it worth me continuing that character or making a new one? I heard they made changes. They're only LVL12 if that makes a difference.

I've known about some past builds (as well as a weird prototype WEG), but according to the other thread (>>715242776) Kis has been apparently doing this since 2018 before landing on something happy. The first tier of Crescent Grove and also netplay got released on Steam late last year, he's been doing a lot of refactoring since. After a miscommunication last month in regards to character proportions and this current update that took seven months to come out, he seems to be wanting to push out more updates regularly, so who knows how the pacing will be overall.

The game runs on Unity, at best you'd have to see if it gets any modding autism backing it similarly to Risk of Rain 2. Mods do exist, but the current extent of them I wouldn't know. Maybe when there's more of a game, interest will pick up.

But I mean - a solo dev suddenly seeing his game get large enough to sell to thousands would certainly put on a not insignificant amount of pressure and expectations on anyone starting out. Regardless, he's still handling it better than Wollay of FUCKING Cube World ever did. Don't think Atlyss's scope is too much that Kiseff would feel the need to hire more devs like Notch did.

The problem isn'tr that everyone can fight. DPS/Healer/Tank is stupid.
The problem is that everyone relies on active skills.
Warrior should be parrying, dodging and attacking with his weapon.
Mage should use spells as it is.
Thief should be stealth, which isn't in the game.
