Im not a computer retard but i couldnt get the psx emulator in retrocharch to just open a fucking psx rom and let me play the game.
Meanwhile on duckstation i click twice to open a rom and double click the screen for fullscreen - done.
If they dont have an out of the box working EVERYTHING and that shit needs me to turn into linux tranny to play a single fucking game its worthless.

Honestly I already feel like information-wise we're entering a post-truth age because just imagine how many years ahead the AI in the hands of any entity with power must be.

I've used 15 or so emulators through the years and retroarch is just a mess of menus and setups. I still use is for some systems though, just for retroachievements .

Mednafen is standalone.
SSF is also really good. It's ten times faster than Mednafen and has features that mednafen lacks - like the ability to turn 3d mesh transparencies into actual real transparencies, and a proper de-interlacer.
