How many of these stories are the women genuinely flawed?
Mostly the woman is just boring and doesn't stand up for herself, other than that she's basically a perfect virgin girlfriend to the love interest.
Yeah boring women aren't interesting, but they aren't a forever alone death sentence.
The men on the other hand are usually bullied, openly perverts, creeps out girls, antisocial, can't make conversation, awkward, constantly failing(their own fault mostly), aren't trying as hard as they can and realistically would have no reason to be approached by women.
This is because IRL, most women know they have flaws and half of them actively work to fix them with therapy and other things.
Men IRL refuse to do therapy, think meds are a psyop, have no idea how to casually/romantically interact with women and refuse to learn how because it's "hard" and when you call them out on their shortcomings they have any number of excuses and vitriol to spit back rather than just becoming better.
There's a reason there's a trend for Isekai where male characters are OP without having to really work at it, when the the female equivalent of the villainess story is to logically outmaneuver and act better.
