I'm not averse to having interactions with people. I'm averse to this particular family situation where everything is framed as if I'm wrong and dysfunctional, and never doing enough for everyone else.
And then they drag you into a room, and look at you, and talk about people you've never met and things you don't really have opinions on, and you go home confused as to what you even achieved by being there.
