The offseer songs being played on 2 custom made flutes is really cool and the mobius opera (especially interlink battle) is the best boss music in the series, FIGHT ME.

I didn't care for the offseer songs gimmicks when the tracks themselves were meh. Moebius battle + interlink is definitely the best regularly used boss theme in the series. I wish there were other area/town tracks as good as Eagus Wilderness day/night and Fort Ovirbus night. Some of the cutscene tracks are good, but a lot of them sound too smarmy and pretentiously "emotional" for lack of better word. It also overused the Oroborous/Moebius leitmotif way too much, which ended up souring me on the actual Oroborous/Moebius tracks which are pretty good.

Disagree. TOTK is a brand new game on top of the old world and with Switch 2 there's no downsides because both BOTW/TOTK got upgrade graphics/fps.
The reason why Nintendo make the best games is because they're creative, all the companies who ends up making boring live service slop aren't really learning anything valuable, they end up just grinding out orders from some boss who listened to some investor or analyst and they were told "x feature is popular right now add it!" Sure they added new story, NPCs, replaced all the shrines with new riddles and added sky islands and Nether (whatever it was called). However all that stuff is basically just to justify calling it a new game. It's not more 'new' than just being more of the same.

The only meaningful change is building and stitching weapons together
The core gameplay was barely changed. You can even ignore building stuff and stitching weapons together. The enemy variety is an absolute joke.
They kept climbing and glider and horse which at least would force you to approach some things differently.

Defending this is almost on the level of CoD/Fifa.

I find something else funnier. When years ago we posted videos of BotW running in smooth 60fps on PC, as opposed to ~25fps on the Switch, fanboys said either that they didn't see any difference or that 60fps looked worse, because 30 was the target fps or artistic choice.
Now that they can play the game in 60fps, they suddenly admit how much better it looks.
On the other hand, I'm not laughing at them, because at the very least their standards are higher and I can hope they will now demand more from Nintendo or rather from all games on the Switch 2, including multiplats.
