Anytime a remaster drops, that becomes the version people play because they can buy it on steam even though they can emulate the original for free or buy the og on ebay for 15 to 30 bucks

i genuinely dont even get the love for the DLC other than the fact it came at a time they were releasing nerf after nerf for the base game anyways.

Better than the original simply due to you getting the dull ember much earlier and don't start with the DLC keys so you can't rush those
