In better news, I got a bluetooth controller adapter for my PC Engine (and it has built-in multitap functionality so I can easily do 5-player Bomberman without needing to spring for a bunch of extra PCE gamepads). I'm using an 8bitdo Neo Geo CD pad currently, and it surprisingly feels "right" (after adjusting the adapter's button mapping for 2-button mode).

Ratchet & Clank 3 for the first time. In 2 you collect crystals in a cool desert and a cool tundra, but in 3 you collect crystals in a fucking sewer. The levels are small and repetitive. Pretty awesome! I've had a really good day. Got some good news about my dad. Went shopping. I was wanting to find a specific figure (the NECA Mona Lisa in a two-pack), and the toy store had it. Also got the big Catwoman pack with Irma in it. Got some Blokees Transformers, never got those before. They are in blind boxes and I wanted the Grimlock. First one I opened: Grimlock. Found the first volume of a graphic novel series that I had collected last year, had everything except the first one, so now my set is complete. Found an RPG I wanted (Kids on Bikes), for like $6. Found a book I didn't have from one of my favorite horror authors, usually his books can be hard to find. Just an awesome day all around, and it keeps getting better.

I'm starting a new one due to the ranged combat update. I build my fort with a pasture and large rampart wall on the surface. I am bringing elephants. I always do a 3x3 core staircase. I like to capture or trade for some animals. I like doing the breeding/training to get meat shields. Especially interested to see that with the ranged update.
I always fall behind on leather/clothing so I need to start that sooner. I always bring Turkeys for leather.

I would suggest using Instagram. They have an incredible algorithm. My account has really good "Suggested for you" girls. It's revolutionary once you build up a good algorithm.
