>>715333368Fair enough. The early part of each character's route is slow since you don't have any commands or passives. The general idea is that you have to reach Radiant Garden first (It's like the third area?) as that's the first time Mandrkes spawn and drop items that let you get Lucky Strike which then opens up crafting entirely for you.

Use that list because you're not going to unlock anything naturally so don't waste your time because BBS is a guide game.
Ventus can get a lategame command in Dwarf Woodlands almost immediately with the starting commands and I believe so could Aqua. Terra plays the worst out of the three thanks to his slow attacks, terrible dodges, and short iframes. Once you get to Ventus and Aqua combat in general feels significantly better, especially Aqua.
You can use D-Links early on for decent commands but they're mostly pointless. The best way to level them is reach Olympus Colosseum and then go to the back for the challenge. I believe Terra can't do that and I forgot what his best way to level them was. They level by how many kills you get while in the D-Link.
For leveling commands use Mickey's D-Link and go right outside of Olympus' doors since it has the highest level enemies that are super easy to kill quickly.
>>715333469Yeah, a big thing you have to go into things like BBS and DDD with is that they were handheld games. They didn't really change much with the console releases outside of bring FM to the west with BBS and basically made the DDD release a pseudo-FM by fixing hit stun and adding a few Dream Eaters into the mix.
