Decline. Cutting edge good game development is not profitable/consistent enough in the west but theres still demand. Games like Expedition 33 are outliers and won't be the norm. Most game development will shift east to China/Japan/Korea. Western devs will either be too big to fail like epic/take two, or be indie. Nintendo, Valve, and Tencent will dominate their respective spheres of influence. We are entering a vidya cold war.
