Waterpark was awful, the constant elevation changes and narrow paths made it really shit to navigate. Pinball was okay, the concept was cool but actual level design wasn't great.

i only find the score challenges fun all the other shit isn't fun. and the levels don't seem strangely addictive like 1+2.

foundry - good, the classic early THPS level that is simple yet addictive, with obvious flows.
canada, Suburbia, airport, college, san fran, alcatraz, waterpark, shipyard, london - fucking worthless
cruise, pinball - just ok. pinball uses the visual gimmick well and it's unique in respect to really leaning into a pure score-aping layout.

the THPS4 campaign in this game sucks

I'm enjoying it, not that much to complain about overall.
Playing Skater Island hit me in the feels hard. I used to go there almost every weekend when I got a car, and I would play THPS3 during the week and imagine the tricks and lines I would do on that Saturday morning.
Now, like everything else in my life, it's dead and faded away over time.

Problem is these games are very outdated the only reason people liked these games in the past is because they had a soundtrack of modern enough and songs so that it was a unique experience that wasn't available in other games because they all had orchestral songs and other stuff so now that it's the future that impressive factor is no longer impressive and it's just a mediocre game

It feels like there's input delay and lag. you fall through the map. grinding on shit and transferring feels hacky. the way you get sucked into grinds feels like a glitch. I press the trigger and i'm suddenly magically flying over to a ramp miles away following some arch in a way that makes no fucking sense and looks and feels fucked up. they changed the controls and tricks to gay ones. OG 3 felt so much smoother and better to play.

THPS3's side feels about what I expected, though the sheer lack of quality in the human animations besides skaters is actually funny in its own right. THPS4 feels like it's absolutely gutted, referencing old stuff and having the occasional couple of old goals recreated for little mini-events doesn't make up for the fact that it's so barren now; these maps were meant to have a bunch of goal missions appearing in every little nook and cranny, and without that you can tell these levels were just not good for this shit, even if you set the timer to an hour. And once you do finish that place's goals, you're out of there far, FAR faster than any completionist run of 4 had, so it doesn't feel like you get to embrace the level sizes.

I can't play this on Switch 2 handheld, it cramps my hands so fucking bad
