What an absolutely low-effort, phoned-in, soulless, churned-slop game made purely because Rockstar threw trunks of money at them.

It's actually so bad that it retroactively lowered my opinion of Max Payne 1 just by association

Yeah 2nd is the weakest, worse than 1st. 3rd one is just too different to compare
Somehow they didn't only have a weaker story but also shittier gameplay than MP1, especially the bullet time changes. And the difficulty is toned way down. Only improvement the game has is physics

Not even bait, just cold truth. MP2 had its flaws but it still had heart-MP3 feels like they jammed Max into a gritty HBO drama written by someone who only skimmed the manual. It's like they forgot the entire noir comic vibe and thought making him bald and drunk was character development.
