No because if they all spoke Italian it would have character. Not to mention the target audience is in the 80-90 IQ range nowadays so there's zero hope for them to read the subtitles in time, let alone both read and pay attention to the rest of the screen (assuming they can even read in the first place).

Same reason the cars will not handle anything like cars of the period would. It's just the same old AAA formula with a different skin on it.

After checking the video, it's about as typical a gameplay as you'd expect. Crouching and getting stealth kills, bandage to heal, firing from cover if you want. I only possible new thing is maybe that knife kill from afar but that was just another form of stealth kill. The AI though is looking pretty dumb. That one scene where you throw the grenade and the force of the grenade bounced the guy back that he couldn't escape in time as he shouts "He's got a grenade!" is hilariously bad. there was also that guy that announced loudly he found a body and gives you enough time to stealth kill them. There was some melee combat but it looks like basic. Like you hit them enough until you get the final knife attack to finish them off. combat shown so far is about as mediocre as you'd expect. Nothing really stands out to me.
