sad that it was held back by the first vii remake's bad faith fan trolling.
as for xvi, its combat is comfy and chill but that aint the combat you put in your flagship title, so it had the flop coming.

I have unironically spent at least 8 hours a day for the past few years trying to maintain a positive narrative surrounding the FF brand on 4chan. But I do allow XV negativity in order to upset Barry. My main goal is to keep the conversation surrounding VIIR as positive as possible in the hopes of earning it more sales. I'm not joking. You'll see my work in practically every VIIR thread. If anyone says anything that isn't positive enough I'll either insult them or begin questioning them, while never sharing my own opinions. It's a good tactic. Just grill them until they regret making their point in the first place. Images like this also help.

Indeed, but then again there hasn't been a gaming masterpiece released in over 10 years.
I did enjoy Rebirth even though it goes way too overdrive in the padding. Same as Remake really, they're enjoyable enough but they will not replace OG FF7 or capture the same magic.

I'm playing through it very slowly. I don't think it's bad but it's really not a game where I'm like
